Fall Market at Baker Family Farm
Info & Rules for Vendors

We will try and take a balanced mix of both crafters and home-based businesses and will only take so many from each category (ex. Bath, jewelry, woodworking, etc).

Once your completed form has been accepted, we will reach out to confirm your spot and request payment. There is no application process, but we will be capping categories for a balanced market. We will also only be accepting one vendor per direct marketing company (ex. Scentsy, Pampered Chef)

Vendor fees are non-refundable 30 days prior to the market.

All communications for the sale will be done via email.

The organizers are not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items before, during or after the market.

Outdoor spaces are 10 x 10. If you require shelter, you will need to bring your own canopy.

In the greenhouse, spots are large enough for a 6-foot table. Please note, that if it is sunny, the greenhouse is a greenhouse, so it will heat up.

All vendors will need to bring their own tables, chairs, and canopy (if using one).

Set up time is from 9:00am to 10:55am. Please be ready for 11am when the sale opens. You must stay open to 5pm (weather permitting). Please be courteous to the other vendors and customers, and do not pack up early. If you pack up early you will not be welcomed back to any Gold Leaf Events’ Market.

Load in and out details will be sent out via email the week of the Market.

Vendors must stay within their allotted space and be courteous to their neighbours.

Vendors are responsible for setting up and taking down their own booth. It is up to the vendor to bring their own displays for your tables.

Food vendors must comply with all health regulations. For information on what you can and cannot sell please contact your local Public Health Inspector and visit the Health Protection Unit’s website at: www.gov.mb.ca/health/publichealth/environmentalhealth/index.html

All home packaged food shall be labelled identifying the following as per Manitoba Health:

Source – producer name or identity code, and phone number

Common name of food

Ingredients
-
Date the food was prepared
-
Note - Individually portioned products do not require labelling; however labelling information must be readily available from the vendor.

There will be a raffle at the market. All proceeds from the raffle be donated to Funds For Furry Friends.

We understand how important advertising is and do our best to advertise in as many spots as possible via social media (free and paid ads), the internet, print, banners, radio, and anything else that we can think of!

There will be other things happening at the farm that day including pumpkin sales, u-pick pumpkins in the patch, farm stand, and more.

Info & Rules for Vendors

APPLICATIONS FOR THIS MARKET HAVE CLOSED.

The online form below will stay open for anyone wanting to be on the wait list.

Preference will be given to handmade vendors and will only take so many from each category (ex. Bath, jewelry, woodworking, etc.). Preference will also be given to makers and sellers from the Westman area.

We reserve the right to ask you not to bring certain products due to over saturation.
-
Fees will be due within three weeks of being accepted.

Vendor fees are non-refundable 30 days prior to the market.

Vendors must be available to attend both days.
-
All communications for the sale will be done via email.

The organizers are not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items before, during or after the market.

There will be security guards hired for Friday and Saturday evenings.
-
One table and two chairs will be provided unless you have specified that you do not need them.

Spots are pre-assigned, and tables will be labelled. We will do our best to accommodate special requests.

Set up information will be emailed out the week of the market.

Vendors are responsible for setting up and taking down their own booth. It is up to the vendor to bring their own displays for your tables. Nothing is to be put on the walls. The venue does not provide a tablecloth.
